Being dynamic about scapholunate instability…. Moving away from the hand table!
This course is fully booked! If you would like to register to join the waiting list in case of cancelations, please email The course is designed to enhance the participant’s knowledge and skills in the evidence-based rehabilitation of scapholunate instability. The course considers current evidence of carpal kinematics, diagnosing scapholunate instability, theory of stability mechanisms and rehabilitation theory and practical, including exercise prescription. Participants evaluate case studies to apply theory gained.
At the end of this course delegates will be able to:
  1. Locate and discuss appropriate functional anatomy and scapholunate kinematics
  2. Understand the role of and complete clinical assessment of scapholunate instability
  3. Understand theories of carpal stability mechanisms
  4. Implement evidence-based treatments for conservative management of stage 1 scapholunate instability
  5. Understand the possible implications for post-surgical rehabilitation precautions and evidence-based care of post-operative treatment
  6. Have an increased awareness of exercise prescription and increased confidence of higher level rehabilitation
